Mahindra and Renault together launched a C Segment Sedan called Logan a few years back. It is known for its wide cabin space and headroom. The passengers in this sense are very comfortable travelling in it. It is available in six colour range, Diamond White, Turf Green, Mist Silver, Sahara Beige, Fiery Black and Toreador Red.
Design and Styling of Mahindra Renault Logan
The designing of the interiors of the Mahindra Logan car has been done in such a way that it falls under the category of Sedans with largest cabin space. The comfort of the passengers has been given fair importance. The rear seats too give out good headroom to the passengers seated in the car. The bumpers match the colour of the body of the Sedan.
The honeycomb dashboard is square in shape and satisfactorily functional in Mahindra Renault Logan. Side driver and front passengers airbag have been provided in some variants of the car. Glove box is present too with five speed gearbox. The shift of the gears is smooth giving ease in driving the Sedan.
Few variants of the Mahindra Renault Logan have power windows and steering. The central locking and fuel fill opener is also remote enabled in those models. There is however no boot release in any of the variants. The car has been tested for safety against crashes and the results were satisfactory. The air conditioner installed in car does a fair job.
Engine and other specifications of Mahindra Renault Logan
The diesel engine powering the Mahindra Logan car has 1461 cc displacement. It produces a maximum power of 65 Bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 16 Kgm at 2000 rpm.The engine of Logan is considered strong enough to zoom from 0 to 60 kilometres per hour in 6.7 seconds. The driver seat adjustment is manually handled. Tachometer has been provided in the car. The fuel efficiency as claimed by the company is 16 kilometres per litre on city roads.
Performance of Mahindra Renault Logan
Mahindra Renault Logan car efficiently performs on any kind of roads giving out a good mileage. The designing of the interiors is though quite roomy but the exteriors lack an enticing design. The Logan cannot be counted among the good looking Sedans in the market. Lack of internal boot release is a major drawback.
The mirrors placed at the side for rear view are not big enough to give complete visibility in Logan sedan. The console has the buttons and switches placed at an inconvenient location. The body of the car is however quite tough and safety against crashes is ensured by Mahindra Renault. The latest version by Mahindra Renualt, the Logan Edge has a lot of improved features which will appeal the users more than the previous editions.

Mahindra Renault Logan, although not a very good looking Sedan is a good performer on roads and its tough body ensures safety of the passengers and the driver travelling in it.
