Also the weight of the laptop which is 2.8 kilograms scores down as compared to the other light weight laptops in the market.
So the handling of the laptop can be cumbersome at times. Battery backup is disappointing though it is loaded with many beneficial features. The gaming of FarCry 2 is great. 720p and 1080p HD videos are played without any problems and hassles. The laptop is definitely not one of the best looking ones but when it comes to features it is competent enough.
Acer Aspire 5740G also comes with a key able to launch the most used programs on the laptop. The videos stored in the laptop can be connected to a projector or a plasma TV for a better viewing experience without losing the resolution. The applications on the system are fast to access. The gesture friendly full keyboard is counted among its advantageous factors. The laptop excels in multi tasking because the performance of the system does not get affected with the usage of many applications at the same time.
